What it's for
Capexo has four plans. Free, Pro and Enterprise belong to a company. Lifetime belongs to one person. Prices are in US dollars, per user. Guests (people with the Stakeholder role) are free on every plan, and people who only sign a document by e-signature need no account.
The plans
- Free: $0. Up to 3 users, the owner included, 2 projects and 5 free guests. Plan, milestones, build objects, RAID log, meetings, decisions, quality gates and lessons learned.
- Pro: $10 a user a month billed annually ($120 a year), or $12 billed monthly. All features, unlimited projects, 25 free guests and no seat minimum.
- Enterprise: quoted for your organisation. Everything in Pro, with unlimited guests, a contract, invoicing and dedicated support. Single sign-on is coming soon.
- Lifetime: $299 once, per user. All Pro features for you, forever, in every company you own, and you never take a paid Pro seat. The Capexo desktop app with offline working is coming soon.

Before you start
Pick a plan
- A small team trying Capexo: Free
- Working alone and prefer to pay once: Lifetime
- Several people need to edit: Pro
- Procurement, contract or invoicing needs: Enterprise
How to buy Pro
- Open Subscription
In Company admin, open Subscription and usage. You can also start from Settings, Your plan. You need to be the company owner or an admin.
- Choose the users and the billing
Set the number of users and choose annual or monthly. You cannot choose fewer seats than the company uses.
- Pay
Select Upgrade to Pro. Stripe takes the payment, and you come back to a page that confirms the plan once Stripe has told us.
How to buy Lifetime
In Settings, Your plan, select Buy Lifetime. It is for you, the person signed in, so each person buys their own. Stripe takes the payment and the plan is on as soon as Stripe tells us.
How to change seats, cancel or update a card
- Change seats in Company admin, Subscription. Added seats are charged straight away for the rest of the period; removed seats lower your next renewal. You cannot go below the seats in use.
- Manage billing opens Stripe's billing page, where you can update your card, see invoices and cancel.
- If you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the paid period, then the company moves to Free. Nothing is deleted.
- If a payment fails, Stripe tries again and Pro stays on. If Stripe gives up, the company moves to Free. Nothing is deleted.
Good to know
- A company you own gets Pro features when you hold Lifetime. Settings, Workspaces shows "Covered by your Lifetime plan" next to it. You are its one editor, with up to 25 free guests; colleagues who edit need Pro seats.
- Someone with Lifetime never takes a paid seat, in any company.
- Role-based access is included on every plan, Free included. The plan decides which modules a company has. Each person's role decides what they can change. See Roles and permissions.
- A company that had more on the old plans keeps its limits. Nothing was taken away.
- AI costs nothing extra: each person pays their own AI provider. See AI settings and your own key.
- Single sign-on is not available today.
Who can do this
Anyone can buy Lifetime for themselves. Pro is bought by the company owner, or by a company admin. See Roles and permissions.
