What it's for
The demo is the real Capexo app, loaded with five example programmes. You get your own copy, so you can open, change and add anything you like without affecting anyone else. Your copy is deleted after 7 days. The companies and people in it are fictional.
The five programmes are on five platforms, each on its own method with its phases, gates and words: an SAP S/4HANA greenfield on SAP Activate (in Realize), Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud on the Salesforce phased approach (in Validate), NetSuite ERP on SuiteSuccess (in Drive), Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM on a common Oracle Cloud approach (in Build and configure), and ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM on Now Create (in Deliver). They come with plans, RAID, scope and build objects, tests and defects, cutover runbooks, quality gates, budgets, resources, meetings, status reports and dashboards, with dates set around today.
Before you start
You need

- To be signed out of your own Capexo account in that browser
- No email address and no card
How to start the demo
- Pick a role
On the demo page, choose who you want to be, then select Start the demo.
- Pass the bot check
The app asks you to confirm you are not a bot.
- Wait a few seconds
The app signs you in to the demo and sets up your copy of the example programmes.
- Explore
You land where that role usually starts, such as My work on Home, the portfolio, or the testing of the SAP S/4HANA programme.
The roles you can pick
- Executive Sponsor: sees every programme and approves decisions, change requests and gates. Edits nothing.
- Programme Manager: runs the plan, RAID, budget, gates and status reports.
- Head of IT: builds, tests and runs cutover.
- Business Head: owns scope and testing, with dashboards and signatures.
- PMO Lead: the whole portfolio, with every permission.
- Test and Cutover Manager: runs the test cycles and defects, plus RAID.
- Data Migration Lead: runs the data migration loads and their RAID.
- Training Lead: runs training for every audience, plus RAID.

The demo bar
A bar across the top of every page says Demo workspace: example programmes, deleted after 7 days. It has three buttons:
- Switch role: pick another role from the list. Your current role is marked.
- Start over: deletes your changes and gives you a fresh copy. You pass the bot check again.
- Start free: leaves the demo and opens the sign-up page.
What the demo does not allow
A few actions are switched off, with Not available in the demo written next to them:
- Adding a company or client
- Inviting or adding people to a company or project
- Requesting e-signatures (pre-signed records show how signing looks)
- Uploading documents
- Changing plans
- Changing profile photos
Good to know
- If you are signed in with your own account, the demo asks you to sign out first.
- If the page says The demo is being set up, try again later.
- Coming back on the same browser returns you to your existing copy until it is deleted.
- Nothing from the demo carries over to a real account. See Create your account and company.
