Already using your vendor’s own tools?
Some platform vendors offer their own tools for implementing, testing and running their applications. SAP Cloud ALM, for example, comes at no extra licence cost for many SAP customers, with SAP Enterprise Support, SAP cloud subscriptions or RISE with SAP.
Capexo is vendor-neutral programme governance: RAID, quality gates, cutover, status reports and sign-off for the whole programme, across clients, vendors and systems, whichever platform you implement. A vendor’s tool and Capexo answer different questions and can be used side by side.

Pricing questions
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free is for up to 3 users and 2 projects, with 5 free guests, no card and no time limit. It keeps the plan, build objects, the RAID log, meetings, decisions, quality gates and lessons learned.
How does per-user pricing work?
On Pro you pay for each person who edits, and there is no seat minimum. A company admin can add or remove seats at any time. Added seats are charged straight away for the rest of the period; removed seats lower your next renewal. Guests are free and take no seat.
What does paying annually save?
Pro is $10 a user a month billed annually, which is $120 a user a year, or $12 billed monthly. Paying annually saves 17 percent.
What does Lifetime include?
All Pro features for one person, paid once. You get them in every company you own, with up to 25 free guests and unlimited projects, and you never take a paid seat in any company. Each person buys their own Lifetime. Colleagues who edit in your company need Pro seats. The Capexo desktop app with offline working comes with Lifetime when it ships; it is not available yet.
What happens if I cancel Pro?
Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then the company moves to Free. Nothing is deleted: your projects, documents and people stay where they are. If you are past the Free limits, you can read and work on what you have, but not add more until you upgrade.
What if a payment fails?
Stripe tries the card again over the following days and Pro stays on while it does. Company admins see a notice in Company admin, Subscription, and can update the card there. If Stripe gives up, the subscription ends and the company moves to Free. Nothing is deleted.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Upgrade from Free to Pro at any time from Company admin, Subscription, change seats there, or cancel in Manage billing. Moving to Enterprise starts with a short call.
Why does AI cost nothing extra?
Each person uses AI with their own key from Anthropic, OpenAI, OVHcloud, Mistral or Groq, so you pay your provider directly and Capexo adds no charge for AI. Each person turns AI on in their own settings, and a company admin can block AI for the company. AI is on Pro, Enterprise and Lifetime.
What is a guest?
A guest is someone you invite with the stakeholder role. Guests can see the project, comment, raise risks, issues and actions, complete their own actions and sign documents. Guests are free and do not count as users. People who only sign a document by e-signature need no account at all.
What counts as a user?
Everyone in a company who is not a guest, the owner included. Someone with Lifetime counts as a user on Free, but never takes a paid seat on Pro.
How does Enterprise pricing work?
Enterprise is quoted for each organisation. The main factors are the number of projects and users, your security and compliance requirements, and the support level you need. Talk to us and we will send a quote.
How do you take payment?
Payments go through Stripe, by card. Capexo never sees your card number. You get a receipt from Stripe, and a company admin can see invoices in Manage billing.
How is our data protected?
Capexo runs on Supabase and Vercel, with encryption in transit and at rest and row-level security in the database. The security page has the details, and we complete security questionnaires on request.
