Install the Capexo app

Capexo installs straight from your browser. It is the same app, in its own window with its own icon, and you sign in with the same account.

Open Capexo

Choose your device

Open Capexo in your browser and sign in, then follow the steps for your device. In the app, the account menu and Settings also have an Install Capexo button.

  • Windows and Mac

    Chrome or Edge

    1. Open Capexo in Chrome or Edge.
    2. Select the Install button at the right of the address bar. You can also open the browser menu and choose Install Capexo (in Edge, under Apps).
    3. Capexo opens in its own window and is added to your Start menu or Applications folder.

  • Mac

    Safari

    1. Open Capexo in Safari.
    2. In the menu bar, choose File › Add to Dock.
    3. Select Add. Capexo opens from the Dock in its own window.

  • iPhone and iPad

    Safari

    1. Open Capexo in Safari.
    2. Tap the Share button.
    3. Choose Add to Home Screen, then tap Add.

  • Android

    Chrome

    1. Open Capexo in Chrome.
    2. Tap Install app when it appears, or open the menu and choose Install app.
    3. Capexo is added to your home screen and your apps.

Good to know

  • Projects need a connection

    Your programme data lives on the server, not on the device. Without a connection the app still opens, and shows a clear message that you are offline.

  • Nothing to download

    You install Capexo from the browser. There is no installer file, and there are no Capexo apps in the App Store or Google Play.

  • Updates ask first

    When a new version is ready, the app tells you and reloads only when you choose to, so you never lose an edit.
